1. Vision & Overview
Rather than treating generative AI as a single-turn prompt box, Fruits treated AI generation as an end-to-end studio workflow: providing character consistency across shots, prompt lineage tracking, reference image uploads, customizable template cards, and structured credit/tariff management.
2. Architecture & Technical Stack
Fruits was engineered with a modern, type-safe, reactive full-stack architecture:
- Framework & Frontend:
- Next.js 16.2.4 (App Router with Server Components & Server Actions)
- React 19.2.4
- Modern CSS Modules + Design System with dynamic dark mode, glassmorphism, and responsive mobile/desktop viewports.
- Strict nonce-based Content Security Policy (CSP) and automated cookie consent handling.
- Backend & State:
- Supabase (
@supabase/ssr,@supabase/supabase-js) for secure authentication, real-time database models, and cloud asset storage. - Custom token and role-based moderation system (
/api/admin/moderation,/api/admin/bootstrap).
- Supabase (
- AI Pipelines & Processing:
- Multi-provider model orchestration via OpenAI and Groq.
- High-performance image transformations, format conversion, and thumbnail generation using Sharp.
- Custom prompt lineage engine ensuring prompt iterations and image variations could always be traced back to their creative origins.
- DevOps & Infrastructure:
- Containerized via Docker on Coolify, automated DB migrations, storage reconciliation, and background worker routines.
3. Key Features & Visual Walkthrough
3.1 The Landing & Studio Intro
The landing page introduces creators to the Fruits studio workspace with clear calls to action, visual demonstrations of character generation, and an intuitive dark-themed interface.
3.2 The Home Discovery Feed
A curated feed where users can browse community and personal generations, inspect prompt settings, and jump straight into generating variations.

3.3 The Builder Workspace
The core interactive cockpit:
- Multi-modal generation interface supporting positive/negative prompts, reference image upload, seed lock, and dimension presets.
- Real-time preview with dynamic loading states and instant download/export.

3.4 Projects & Character Collections
A file and project management suite allowing artists to organize outputs by model, theme, or campaign, complete with bulk movements and storage management.

3.5 Documentation & Member Portal
Comprehensive documentation for prompting techniques, API integrations, tariff structures, and privacy/terms.

4. Retrospective & Sunset Decision
Fruits served as a rich experimental foundation and production-ready playground for modern multimodal generative AI workflows. However, as infrastructure demands evolved across our VPS ecosystem running persistent Node/Next.js memory-intensive server clusters alongside automated cron-sync workers exceeded the resource profile.
In November 2026, the live application was formally archived and sunsetted, preserving all source code, models, and design assets for future dedicated deployment.
